F-F-Friuli Venezia Giulia! One of the smallest regions in the country – and one of the best kept secrets in Italy. FVG, for friends, has just over 1.2 million inhabitants and northeasternmost of the 20 Italian regions, bordering with Austria and Slovenia.
Not surprisingly, FVG has some of the best slopes in the country – both Dolomites and Alps – and a stunning meandering coastline in the south. The breathtaking scenery of the region was recently set to the first half of our DD # 2 FVG.

We got our three top guys from the Basilicata demo project: Matty Brown, Mark Hofmeyr and Caspar Diederik, and Oana Dragan from Canada joined us for the fun ride into the mountains for the White Edition, covering slopes, sleighs, private planes, basically having a ball. They ate themselves silly on arguably the best prosciutto in Italy, from San Daniele, the freshest trout, cheeses, hand made ravioli, and omnipresent ‘fricco’.
Then they drank through cases of Picolit and Ramandolo. And this was just the beginning!

We’ll be back in the region with a vengeance for our the Blue Edition along with our team of new black belt video artists. Jonah Kessel and George Karellas, and Caspar will be back for his Food & Wine special (there are worse jobs, dude…) and one extra opening for another really talented artist.
If you think you have what it takes and would like to become part of our team let us know.
The blue edition will be running from the 30th of May to the 7th of June starting in the stunning backdrop of the capital of the region, Trieste.
And from there, well, a week of trains, planes and automobiles as usual, and a yacht here or there, so get your GoPro’s ready guys…
